The Center for Advanced Technology Strategy (CATS) is a public interest organization with the goal of furthering the application of technology to problems in the areas of environment, healthcare and eGovernment.
Solutions in these areas will result from better integration and novel application of existing and new technologies. These solutions have become increasingly possible through advances in technology, especially in computing, physics and the Internet.
Though an ever-increasing network of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs, along with individual members and corporate partners, CATS uses an open innovation model to solicit proposals including:
- proof-of-concepts
- strategic prototypes
- broad-based pilot projects
